La Municipalidad Provincial de Abancay, a trav\u00e9s de la Sub Gerencia de Seguridad Ciudadana, viene desarrollando durante el a\u00f1o 2026 diversas acciones articuladas y permanentes junto a la Oficina de Participaci\u00f3n Ciudadana (OPC) de la Polic\u00eda Nacional del Per\u00fa, en el marco de los programas preventivos orientados al fortalecimiento de la seguridad ciudadana y la participaci\u00f3n comunitaria en el distrito de Abancay.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Como parte de estas acciones, se viene brindando apoyo continuo para la conformaci\u00f3n e implementaci\u00f3n de las Juntas Vecinales de Seguridad Ciudadana, mediante la entrega de implementos como chalecos, gorras, linternas, silbatos, meg\u00e1fonos, ponchos de agua, entre otros equipos necesarios para el desarrollo de sus labores preventivas y de vigilancia comunitaria.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Asimismo, se viene promoviendo la conformaci\u00f3n e implementaci\u00f3n de Brigadas de Autoprotecci\u00f3n Escolar en instituciones educativas y asociaciones de padres de familia de las jurisdicciones de Abancay, Bellavista y Villa Ampay, con el objetivo de contribuir a la seguridad y protecci\u00f3n de los estudiantes durante los horarios de ingreso y salida escolar.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
De igual manera, la Sub Gerencia de Seguridad Ciudadana participa activamente en las rondas mixtas integradas por efectivos de Serenazgo Municipal y personal policial de la PNP, desarrollando patrullajes preventivos e intervenciones conjuntas en las jurisdicciones de las comisar\u00edas de Abancay, Bellavista y Villa Ampay.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Estas acciones se ejecutan de manera permanente, priorizando zonas con mayor incidencia delictiva, espacios p\u00fablicos, instituciones educativas, parques, mercados y sectores identificados como vulnerables, con la finalidad de reducir la percepci\u00f3n de inseguridad ciudadana y los \u00edndices de violencia, garantizando as\u00ed mayor tranquilidad y protecci\u00f3n para la poblaci\u00f3n abanquina.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
