En cumplimiento de los lineamientos del Instituto Nacional de Defensa Civil (INDECI) y de la Ley N.\u00b0 29664 del Sistema Nacional de Gesti\u00f3n del Riesgo de Desastres (SINAGERD), la Municipalidad Provincial de Abancay (MPA) desarroll\u00f3 hoy viernes 29 de mayo el Simulacro Nacional Multipeligro Ante Sismo y Peligros Asociados 2026, con el objetivo de fortalecer la preparaci\u00f3n y capacidad de respuesta de la poblaci\u00f3n e instituciones ante emergencias de gran magnitud.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

El ejercicio, realizado desde las 10:00 de la ma\u00f1ana bajo la conducci\u00f3n de la Plataforma Provincial de Defensa Civil y la Subgerencia de Gesti\u00f3n del Riesgo de Desastres, simul\u00f3 un sismo de magnitud 7.1 con epicentro ubicado a 25 kil\u00f3metros al este de la ciudad de Abancay, a una profundidad de 20 kil\u00f3metros e intensidad VIII en la escala Mercalli Modificada. De acuerdo con el escenario t\u00e9cnico planteado, el evento s\u00edsmico gener\u00f3 afectaci\u00f3n en viviendas, instituciones p\u00fablicas, v\u00edas de comunicaci\u00f3n y servicios b\u00e1sicos, adem\u00e1s de comprometer sectores vulnerables como Rontoccocha, Atumpata Baja, Aymas y el barrio Mari\u00f1o.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Durante el simulacro se activaron alarmas, rutas de evacuaci\u00f3n y protocolos de respuesta inmediata, mientras brigadas de rescate y personal de primera respuesta ejecutaron acciones de b\u00fasqueda, evacuaci\u00f3n, atenci\u00f3n prehospitalaria y evaluaci\u00f3n de da\u00f1os, con monitoreo permanente desde el Centro de Operaciones de Emergencia Provincial (COEP). Asimismo, el ejercicio permiti\u00f3 poner a prueba los mecanismos de coordinaci\u00f3n interinstitucional, atenci\u00f3n hospitalaria, implementaci\u00f3n de albergues temporales y sistemas de reporte de emergencias frente a un escenario de desastre de gran impacto.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

En la jornada participaron la Polic\u00eda Nacional del Per\u00fa (PNP), Compa\u00f1\u00eda de Bomberos, SAMU, EsSalud, Red de Salud Abancay, Seguridad Ciudadana, instituciones educativas, universidades, colegios profesionales y organizaciones civiles integrantes de la Plataforma Provincial de Defensa Civil.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Al t\u00e9rmino del simulacro, las brigadas de Evaluaci\u00f3n de Da\u00f1os y An\u00e1lisis de Necesidades (EDAN) realizaron el reporte preliminar de afectaciones simuladas, informaci\u00f3n que fue consolidada y remitida al COEP para fortalecer los mecanismos de respuesta y preparaci\u00f3n ante posibles emergencias reales.<\/div>\n
