La prevenci\u00f3n de sismos se erige como una responsabilidad de las autoridades, permiti\u00e9ndoles establecer v\u00ednculos con la poblaci\u00f3n y, al mismo tiempo, estar debidamente preparados para afrontar situaciones de emergencia. En este sentido, la Municipalidad Provincial de Abancay (MPA), se destac\u00f3 en la prevenci\u00f3n y preparaci\u00f3n para sismos durante un simulacro nacional realizado el hoy en horas de la noche. Esta iniciativa, coordinada por la Subgerencia de Gesti\u00f3n de Riesgos de Desastres (SGRD) – Defensa Civil, el Centro de Operaciones de Emergencia Provincial (COEP) y el Grupo de Trabajo de Gesti\u00f3n de Riesgo de Desastres, ha sido llevada de manera significativa.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Siendo las 20:00 horas del 06 de noviembre de 2023, se registr\u00f3 un movimiento s\u00edsmico de magnitud 6.0 con una profundidad de 20 km, situado a 11 km al noreste de la ciudad de Abancay. El nivel de intensidad alcanz\u00f3 el grado VII, ocasionando da\u00f1os a la vida y salud de las personas, viviendas e infraestructura p\u00fablica de todos los distritos adyacentes al epicentro.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A ra\u00edz de la emergencia, las autoridades actuaron de manera inmediata, coordinando diversas acciones para atender los da\u00f1os causados. El personal de la instituci\u00f3n realiz\u00f3 monitoreo y verificaci\u00f3n de las viviendas da\u00f1adas, as\u00ed como la entrega de kit de herramientas, atenci\u00f3n con bienes de ayuda humanitaria, entre otras acciones para abordar la emergencia.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

El Simulacro, fue llevado a cabo en total conformidad con las directrices de seguridad y regulaciones establecidas en la Resoluci\u00f3n Ministerial 013-2022-PCM, el cual tuvo como objetivo, concientizar a la ciudadan\u00eda acerca de la importancia de estar preparados para responder a una eventual emergencia s\u00edsmica.<\/div>\n
La colaboraci\u00f3n activa de las autoridades y las entidades de respuesta ante emergencias subraya la importancia de la preparaci\u00f3n y la capacidad de respuesta en casos de sismos, resaltando la necesidad perentoria de reforzar incesantemente estas medidas preventivas con el fin de preservar vidas y bienes tanto en Abancay como en sus zonas circundantes.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
