\"\u2705\ufe0f\"<\/span>Un incendio forestal de significativas proporciones se registr\u00f3 esta tarde en el Mirador de Taraccasa, afectando aproximadamente 500 m2 de \u00e1reas reforestadas pertenecientes a la Municipalidad Provincial de Abancay (MPA). La emergencia moviliz\u00f3 de inmediato al Cuerpo General de Bomberos N\u00b0 68 y al equipo especializado de la Subgerencia de Gesti\u00f3n de Riesgos de Desastres de la MPA, quienes trabajaron arduamente para mitigar el fuego y proteger la zona.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\"\u2705\ufe0f\"<\/span>Seg\u00fan reportes preliminares, el fuego, que comenz\u00f3 alrededor de la 1:00 p.m., se propag\u00f3 r\u00e1pidamente debido a los fuertes vientos en la zona. Afortunadamente, la r\u00e1pida intervenci\u00f3n de los bomberos y el equipo municipal logr\u00f3 evitar que el incendio alcanzara \u00e1reas cercanas, como el zool\u00f3gico de Taraccasa, ubicado a menos de 100 metros del siniestro.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\"\u2705\ufe0f\"<\/span>El \u00e1rea afectada incluye m\u00e1s de 1,000 plantones de \u00e1rboles, sembrados como parte de un esfuerzo de reforestaci\u00f3n iniciado en febrero de este a\u00f1o, tras el desalojo de un grupo de personas que habr\u00edan invadido ilegalmente los terrenos del municipio. Entre las especies da\u00f1adas se encuentran plantones de Queu\u00f1a (Polylepis spp.), un \u00e1rbol de gran importancia ecol\u00f3gica y protegido por la legislaci\u00f3n nacional.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\"\u2705\ufe0f\"<\/span>Las autoridades locales sospechan que el incendio podr\u00eda haber sido provocado intencionalmente por estos presuntos invasores, quienes podr\u00edan estar buscando obtener beneficios propios mediante la destrucci\u00f3n de estas \u00e1reas de propiedad de la MPA. El Servicio Nacional Forestal y de Fauna Silvestre (SERFOR) ha sido informado y ya se est\u00e1n realizando las investigaciones pertinentes para determinar las causas exactas del incendio.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\"\u2705\ufe0f\"<\/span>El ingeniero encargado de la Subgerencia de Gesti\u00f3n del Riesgo de Desastres de la MPA hizo un llamado a la poblaci\u00f3n a extremar precauciones, especialmente durante la temporada seca, y evitar cualquier tipo de quema de arbustos que podr\u00eda descontrolarse y generar incendios forestales. Asimismo, destac\u00f3 la importancia del trabajo de concientizaci\u00f3n realizado en las zonas altas de Abancay, donde se han formado grupos de vig\u00edas forestales para alertar r\u00e1pidamente sobre cualquier signo de incendio.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\"\u2705\ufe0f\"<\/span>Finalmente, se reiter\u00f3 la necesidad de continuar apoyando al Cuerpo de Bomberos, cuyas acciones oportunas evitaron que el incendio se propague y ocasione m\u00e1s desastres a su paso. El compromiso de la MPA es seguir fortaleciendo la gesti\u00f3n de riesgos y la protecci\u00f3n de las \u00e1reas reforestadas, esenciales para el bienestar de la comunidad y la conservaci\u00f3n del medio ambiente.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
