\"\u2705\"<\/span>En un significativo reconocimiento al arte y la identidad cultural en nuestra ciudad, la Municipalidad Provincial de Abancay (MPA) ha declarado Visitantes Ilustres a las hijas del fallecido artista Sr. Gabino Vega Paredes, creador del Escudo de la ciudad, a trav\u00e9s de la Resoluci\u00f3n de Alcald\u00eda N\u00b0 469-2024-MPA-A. Este acto simboliza el aprecio y gratitud de la ciudad hacia un hombre que, con su ingenio y habilidad art\u00edstica, supo plasmar en un emblema la esencia de una comunidad vibrante y llena de historia.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\u2705\"<\/span>Gabino Vega Paredes, nacido en Urcos, Cusco, en 1927, lleg\u00f3 a Abancay en 1946, donde se integr\u00f3 plenamente a la vida local, estableciendo lazos profundos con sus habitantes y asumiendo su rol de artista como un compromiso con su nueva tierra. A lo largo de su vida, demostr\u00f3 un talento excepcional en la pintura, el dise\u00f1o y la restauraci\u00f3n, contribuyendo de manera notable al acervo art\u00edstico de la ciudad. Su capacidad para captar la belleza del entorno se materializ\u00f3 en murales, frescos, carteles y restauraciones de obras religiosas, dejando un legado que perdura hasta el presente.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\u2705\"<\/span>En 1983, este emblem\u00e1tico artista dio a Abancay uno de sus s\u00edmbolos m\u00e1s preciados: el Escudo de la ciudad. Esta obra, encargada y reconocida oficialmente por el municipio de la \u00e9poca, est\u00e1 cargada de elementos que narran la historia y caracter\u00edsticas de la regi\u00f3n. Desde el sol que ilumina con calidez eterna, pasando por la Torre de la antigua catedral, la emblem\u00e1tica piedra de Saywite y la majestuosidad del Intimpa del Santuario Nacional del Ampay, hasta el c\u00f3ndor que sobrevuela los cerros y quebradas, cada detalle fue cuidadosamente pensado para representar el alma de Abancay.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\u2705\"<\/span>La resoluci\u00f3n municipal que reconoce p\u00f3stumamente el legado del Sr. Gabino Vega Paredes tambi\u00e9n celebra la conexi\u00f3n profunda que \u00e9l y su familia mantuvieron con la ciudad. A lo largo de casi cinco d\u00e9cadas, su presencia y contribuci\u00f3n cultural enriquecieron a Abancay, transform\u00e1ndolo no solo en un hogar para \u00e9l y sus seres queridos, sino en un espacio de inspiraci\u00f3n constante. Sus hijas, Clary Vega Durand, Dicha Vega Durand, Yenny Vega Durand, Digna Vega Durand, Francy Vega Durand, hoy declaradas Visitantes Ilustres, mantienen viva la memoria de su padre y su legado, agradeciendo a la ciudad por este honor que realza la obra de un artista que supo capturar la identidad de un pueblo.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\u2705\"<\/span>El alcalde Ra\u00fal Pe\u00f1a S\u00e1nchez expres\u00f3 su gratitud hacia Vega Paredes y su familia, se\u00f1alando que \u201ces un acto de reconocimiento no solo a la obra de un artista, sino al amor y dedicaci\u00f3n que tuvo por Abancay. Su escudo es m\u00e1s que un s\u00edmbolo; es una representaci\u00f3n viva de nuestra historia y patrimonio.\u201d<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
