\"\u2705\"<\/span>En el marco de las celebraciones por el 150\u00b0 aniversario de la elevaci\u00f3n de villa a ciudad de Abancay, la Municipalidad realiz\u00f3 un emotivo acto de develamiento simb\u00f3lico del cuadro del Escudo de Abancay, en un evento celebrado en el frontis de su nueva sede. Esta ceremonia especial cont\u00f3 con la presencia de destacadas personalidades, entre ellas, las hijas del reconocido artista Gabino Vega Paredes, creador del escudo de la ciudad, quienes acompa\u00f1aron este significativo homenaje.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\u2705\"<\/span>Las hijas del artista, cuyas identidades reflejan el legado de su padre y su contribuci\u00f3n al patrimonio art\u00edstico de Abancay, estuvieron presentes para honrar el trabajo de quien supo plasmar la esencia de esta tierra en un s\u00edmbolo que representa el esp\u00edritu y la identidad de los abanquinos. La ceremonia fue presidida por el primer regidor, Jos\u00e9 Miranda Espinoza, en representaci\u00f3n del alcalde Ra\u00fal Pe\u00f1a S\u00e1nchez y la regidora Myriam Herrera Valdivia, junto a un nutrido p\u00fablico que se congreg\u00f3 para rendir homenaje a tan preciado emblema.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\u2705\"<\/span>El escudo, dise\u00f1ado por Gabino Vega Paredes en 1983, incluye elementos profundamente simb\u00f3licos como el sol eterno que ilumina la ciudad, la Torre de la antigua catedral, la m\u00edstica piedra de Saywite, la majestuosa Intimpa del Santuario Nacional del Ampay, y el c\u00f3ndor que sobrevuela las monta\u00f1as y quebradas. Cada detalle del escudo es un tributo a la naturaleza, la cultura y la historia de Abancay, reflejando la visi\u00f3n art\u00edstica de Vega Paredes, quien, a lo largo de casi cinco d\u00e9cadas, dej\u00f3 una marca indeleble en el coraz\u00f3n de la ciudad.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\u2705\"<\/span>El primer regidor Jos\u00e9 Miranda Espinoza, destac\u00f3 en su discurso la importancia de recordar y exaltar el legado cultural del artista. \u201cSu escudo es m\u00e1s que un emblema; es el reflejo del amor por esta tierra y de la conexi\u00f3n que supo establecer con Abancay y su gente. Hoy honramos su obra, que vivir\u00e1 en nuestra ciudad como s\u00edmbolo eterno de nuestra identidad.\u201d<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
