\"\u2705\ufe0f\"<\/span>En una firme y contundente intervenci\u00f3n durante la sesi\u00f3n de salud convocada por la Comisi\u00f3n de Salud del Congreso de la Rep\u00fablica, el alcalde de Abancay, Ra\u00fal Pe\u00f1a S\u00e1nchez, alz\u00f3 su voz en defensa del Hospital Guillermo D\u00edaz de la Vega, rechazando cualquier intento de demolici\u00f3n del nosocomio que, desde su fundaci\u00f3n en 1964, ha sido un pilar esencial en la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica de la regi\u00f3n de Apur\u00edmac.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00abSe habla de estudios que justifican la demolici\u00f3n del hospital, pero estos carecen de fundamento t\u00e9cnico y no reflejan la realidad\u00bb, afirm\u00f3 el burgomaestre. Durante su discurso, solicit\u00f3 a la comisi\u00f3n congresal realizar una visita t\u00e9cnica al establecimiento para constatar la adecuada infraestructura que a\u00fan posee, destacando que este hospital sigue atendiendo de manera eficiente a las provincias aleda\u00f1as.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\u2705\ufe0f\"<\/span>Por otro lado, denunci\u00f3 presuntas irregularidades en el manejo del proyecto por parte del Programa Nacional de Inversiones en Salud (Pronis) y el Gobierno Regional de Apur\u00edmac, como la firma de convenios que comprometen terrenos fuera de la jurisdicci\u00f3n de las entidades competentes. Asimismo, record\u00f3 que la Municipalidad Provincial de Abancay ha puesto a disposici\u00f3n un terreno de m\u00e1s de 3.5 hect\u00e1reas, plenamente habilitado con pistas y veredas, como alternativa para la construcci\u00f3n de un nuevo hospital.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201c\u00bfCu\u00e1l es la prisa por destruir un hospital operativo y con un \u00e1rea de m\u00e1s de 37,000 m2, cuando el terreno propuesto para el hospital de contingencia apenas alcanza los 9,000 m2? Con los 36 millones de soles que pretenden invertir en esa infraestructura temporal, podr\u00edamos iniciar la construcci\u00f3n de un nuevo hospital en un terreno adecuado\u00bb, cuestion\u00f3 el alcalde, resaltando la necesidad de proteger los recursos p\u00fablicos y priorizar soluciones sostenibles.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\u2705\ufe0f\"<\/span>Adem\u00e1s, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el hospital Guillermo D\u00edaz de la Vega, clasificado como nivel II-2, es la \u00fanica instituci\u00f3n de su tipo en la regi\u00f3n. \u00abDemolerlo sin contar con una alternativa funcional dejar\u00eda desprotegidos a m\u00e1s de 120,000 habitantes de Abancay y Tamburco, adem\u00e1s de las poblaciones de las provincias vecinas que dependen de sus servicios\u00bb, advirti\u00f3.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\u2705\ufe0f\"<\/span>El alcalde hizo un llamado a las autoridades nacionales a reevaluar los estudios de oferta y demanda del proyecto, los cuales, seg\u00fan afirm\u00f3, sobrestiman la poblaci\u00f3n de Apur\u00edmac y desvirt\u00faan la verdadera necesidad de la regi\u00f3n. Finalmente,<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00abLa salud de nuestro pueblo no puede ser objeto de decisiones improvisadas ni de intereses ajenos. Exigimos que se asignen los recursos necesarios para adquirir o habilitar un terreno adecuado, y que se respete el trabajo y las propuestas de las autoridades locales\u00bb, concluy\u00f3 Pe\u00f1a S\u00e1nchez, dejando claro que Abancay no permitir\u00e1 la demolici\u00f3n de su hist\u00f3rico hospital sin una soluci\u00f3n justa y t\u00e9cnica.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
