\"\u2714\"<\/span>DESPU\u00c9S OCHO A\u00d1OS: Ministro de Justicia y autoridades locales colocar\u00e1n la primera piedra del establecimiento penitenciario en Illanya que ser\u00e1 el primero en iniciar su ejecuci\u00f3n este a\u00f1o gracias a las gestiones realizadas por el alcalde Ra\u00fal Pe\u00f1a.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\u2705\"<\/span>Como parte del compromiso del Gobierno para reducir el hacinamiento en los centros penitenciarios del pa\u00eds, el alcalde provincial de Abancay, Ra\u00fal Pe\u00f1a S\u00e1nchez en su \u00faltima visita a la ciudad de Lima se reuni\u00f3 con el ministro de Justicia y Derechos Humanos, Eduardo Arana Ysa, para coordinar la ejecuci\u00f3n del proyecto de construcci\u00f3n del nuevo penal de Abancay. La obra, que se desarrollar\u00e1 desde este a\u00f1o en el sector de Illanya, permitir\u00e1 la reubicaci\u00f3n de aproximadamente 290 internos entre hombres y mujeres del actual establecimiento penitenciario de San Idelfonso, ubicado en pleno centro de la ciudad, lo que representa un paso significativo hacia el fortalecimiento del sistema de readaptaci\u00f3n social en la regi\u00f3n.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\u2705\"<\/span>En noviembre de 2023, durante la inauguraci\u00f3n del Centro Mega Alegra-CMA, aprovech\u00f3 la visita del ministro de Justicia para insistir en la urgencia del proyecto. \u201cActualmente, la situaci\u00f3n en el centro penitenciario San Idelfonso impide a los internos realizar actividades de manera adecuada. Urge iniciar la construcci\u00f3n del nuevo penal para superar esta problem\u00e1tica\u201d, declar\u00f3 en aquella oportunidad.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\"\u2705\"<\/span>El proyecto, denominado \u201cMejoramiento y Ampliaci\u00f3n del Servicio de Readaptaci\u00f3n Social del Establecimiento Penitenciario de Abancay\u00bb Cui: 238433, contar\u00e1 con una inversi\u00f3n que supera los 130 millones de soles y estar\u00e1 a cargo del Instituto Nacional Penitenciario (INPE) y el Consorcio Saywite, empresa constructora ganadora de la buena pro. La infraestructura penitenciaria ser\u00e1 construida en un \u00e1rea de 19,945 m2 y albergar\u00e1 a m\u00e1s de 650 internos bajo el r\u00e9gimen cerrado ordinario y estar\u00e1 distribuido en unidades y\/o m\u00f3dulos diferenciados de internamiento para varones y mujeres, seg\u00fan el nivel de seguridad (m\u00e1xima, mediana y m\u00ednima), con espacios adecuados para la resocializaci\u00f3n y formaci\u00f3n de los reclusos.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\"\u2705\"<\/span>Ahora bien, para garantizar el proceso de reinserci\u00f3n social, se incluir\u00e1 espacios educativos y laborales, tres aulas de educaci\u00f3n b\u00e1sica alternativa CEBA y cuatro talleres de formaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica CETPRO para varones, dos aulas de CETPRO y un aula de CEBA para mujeres, talleres de zapater\u00eda, carpinter\u00eda, tejido y manualidades para promover habilidades productivas entre los internos, \u00e1reas de asistencia penitenciaria, y por si fuera poco un establecimiento de salud de categor\u00eda I-2 y un t\u00f3pico exclusivo para mujeres, entre otros servicios, todo ello con el objetivo de garantizar que los internos participen en actividades laborales y educativas, reduciendo as\u00ed los \u00edndices de reincidencia delictiva.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

EL FUTURO DEL TERRENO DEL PENAL DE SAN IDELFONSO.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\u2705\"<\/span>Con la reubicaci\u00f3n del actual centro penitenciario, el alcalde de Abancay Ra\u00fcl Pe\u00f1a S\u00e1nchez, ha planteado la necesidad de recuperar el terreno de m\u00e1s de 2,500 m2 donde hoy opera el penal de San Idelfonso. Durante su reuni\u00f3n con el ministro Arana en Lima, el burgomaestre abanquino propuso la transferencia de este predio para convertirlo en un Centro C\u00edvico, un proyecto que dinamizar\u00eda el entorno urbano y fortalecer\u00eda los servicios p\u00fablicos en beneficio de toda la poblaci\u00f3n.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\"\u2705\"<\/span>Este pedido tambi\u00e9n espera ser elevado a la Presidencia de la Rep\u00fablica, con la expectativa de que la mandataria Dina Boluarte visite Abancay en los pr\u00f3ximos d\u00edas para oficializar la ceremonia de colocaci\u00f3n de la primera piedra junto a otras autoridades y haga posible la entrega del terreno a la municipalidad. La consolidaci\u00f3n de este espacio permitir\u00e1 a la comuna local avanzar en la planificaci\u00f3n de un nuevo centro administrativo, cultural y recreativo, lo que contribuir\u00e1 significativamente al crecimiento ordenado de la ciudad.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\u2705\"<\/span>El hacinamiento carcelario es una problem\u00e1tica cr\u00edtica en el Per\u00fa. Seg\u00fan datos del INPE, el pa\u00eds cuenta con 69 penales que fueron dise\u00f1ados para albergar a 41,556 internos; sin embargo, actualmente la poblaci\u00f3n penitenciaria asciende a 98,255 personas, lo que representa un excedente del 136%. Esta situaci\u00f3n ha llevado al Gobierno a destinar 1,630 millones de soles para la construcci\u00f3n de nuevos establecimientos penitenciarios, entre ellos el de Abancay, que ser\u00e1 el primero en iniciar su ejecuci\u00f3n este a\u00f1o.<\/div>\n
